Job Overview
The Public Service Commission Kenya (PSCK) is inviting applications for two (2) Instructor III – Building and Civil Engineering positions. Position Summary
The Instructor III – Building and Civil Engineering will train students in building technology and civil engineering, prepare instructional materials, supervise practical sessions, administer assessments, and contribute to the delivery of quality technical education.
Key Responsibilities
- Undertake training in Building and Civil Engineering in accordance with the approved syllabus.
- Prepare teaching and learning materials and schemes of work.
- Set, administer, and mark examinations and assignments.
- Carry out research under the guidance and supervision of senior trainers.
- Supervise trainees' practical work and projects.
- Assess learners' performance and provide constructive feedback.
- Maintain accurate training records and support curriculum implementation.
- Promote safe working practices during practical training sessions.
Qualifications and Requirements
Applicants should possess either:
- A Diploma in Technical Education in the relevant field from a recognized institution.
OR
- A Diploma in any of the following fields:
- Civil Engineering
- Building Technology
- Construction Technology
- Structural Engineering
