Job Overview

The Public Service Commission Kenya (PSCK) is inviting applications for two (2) Instructor III – Plumbing positions. This is an entry-level opportunity for qualified professionals interested in technical training and skills development within Kenya's vocational education sector.

Successful candidates will be responsible for delivering both theoretical and practical training in plumbing, preparing instructional materials, assessing trainees, and supporting research and curriculum implementation.

Position Summary

The Instructor III – Plumbing will train students in plumbing technology, supervise practical sessions, prepare teaching materials, administer assessments, and contribute to the delivery of quality technical education.

Key Responsibilities

• Undertake training in Plumbing in accordance with the approved syllabus.
• Prepare teaching and learning materials and schemes of work.
• Set, administer, and mark examinations and assignments.
• Carry out research under the guidance and supervision of senior trainers.
• Supervise trainees' practical work and projects.
• Assess learners' performance and provide constructive feedback.
• Maintain accurate training records and support curriculum implementation.
• Promote safe working practices during practical training sessions.

Qualifications and Requirements

Applicants should possess either:

• A Diploma in Technical Education in the relevant field from a recognized institution.

OR

• A Diploma in any of the following fields:
• Plumbing Technology
• Water Engineering
• Plumbing and Pipefitting
