Job Summary

Chroma Craft Media is seeking a creative, enthusiastic, and motivated Content Creator Intern to join its creative team in Kenya. The successful candidate will support the development, production, editing, and distribution of visual content for brand stories, product launches, marketing campaigns, and digital platforms.

This is an excellent opportunity for an aspiring content creator to gain practical experience in a professional creative environment while developing skills in visual storytelling, video production, social media content creation, graphic design, and post-production.

The intern will work closely with the creative team to transform ideas into engaging content that captures audience attention and supports clients' branding and communication objectives. The role is suitable for someone who enjoys experimenting with creative ideas, understands digital audiences, and is interested in keeping up with emerging content trends.

Key Responsibilities

Assist with developing creative concepts for videos, campaigns, and digital content.

Support scriptwriting, storyboarding, and content planning.

Assist with shooting and producing visual content.

Prepare and organize production equipment, assets, and files.

Support video editing and post-production activities.

Create and format content for social media platforms.

Assist with basic graphic design and visual communication.

Research emerging social media and content trends.

Contribute fresh and creative ideas to the content strategy.

Ensure content follows established brand guidelines and visual standards.

Help optimize content for audience engagement across digital platforms.

Organize project files and maintain an efficient content workflow.

Collaborate with other members of the creative team during production.

Participate in content reviews and make adjustments based on feedback.

Support the development of content for brand stories, product launches, and marketing campaigns.

Qualifications and Requirements

Candidates should demonstrate foundational skills in visual storytelling, content creation, video production, and creative ideation. Experience using video editing and post-production software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar tools is desirable.

Applicants should also understand basic digital content creation, including social media formatting, basic graphic design, and how different online audiences consume content.

Strong written and verbal communication skills are important because the intern will work closely with creative professionals and other team members. The successful candidate should be comfortable receiving feedback, contributing ideas, and collaborating on projects.

Good organizational and time-management skills are also required. Attention to detail, willingness to learn, creativity, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment will be valuable in this role.

Enrollment in or recent completion of a course in Film, Media, Communication, Design, Journalism, or a related field is beneficial but not mandatory.

Familiarity with platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube is highly advantageous. An interest in emerging content formats, social media trends, storytelling techniques, and digital marketing will also be an added advantage.

Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate is creative, curious, proactive, and eager to develop professionally. They should be willing to learn new production techniques, experiment with different content formats, and contribute ideas to creative projects.

Candidates who already have a portfolio of videos, social media content, photography, graphic designs, or other creative projects may have an advantage when demonstrating their abilities.
