ROLE OVERVIEW
- The Store Technician/Store person is responsible for the accurate receipt, storage, and dis- patch of all products at the branch, while also providing basic technical support and product demonstrations to customers.
- This dual role suits a technically qualified individual who is equally comfortable managing physical stock and advising customers on solar and electrical product specifications.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES -
STORE MANAGEMENT
- Receive all incoming stock, verify quantities and condition against delivery notes and purchase orders, and update the inventory system.
- Organize and maintain the storeroom: proper labelling, safe stacking, and logical prod- uct categorization.
- Prepare and dispatch products to customers with accurate documentation (delivery notes, gate passes).
- Conduct regular stock counts and reconcile physical stock against system records; re- port discrepancies to the Branch Manager.
- Monitor stock levels and raise timely requisitions to prevent stockouts of fast-moving items.
- Ensure proper handling of fragile items such as solar panels and inverters to prevent damage.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized storeroom at all times.
