About the Role

The SIS Intern will support the collection, organization, verification, and entry of student and parent information into databases. Key Responsibilities

Data Collection & Entry

  • Collect parent and student information according to specified fields and documentation requirements.

  • Extract information from documents and accurately enter it into the appropriate database.
  • Ensure timely and accurate data entry.
  • Review submitted information for completeness and accuracy.

Parent Communication & Follow-Up

  • Respond to parental inquiries regarding requested information.

  • Keep accurate records of parents contacted.
  • Track callbacks, unanswered calls, and pending information requests.

Database & Records Management

  • Monitor outstanding information and follow-up requirements.
  • Ensure data is organized for easy retrieval and processing.
  • Maintain confidentiality when handling student and parent information.

Remote Work & Coordination

  • Work effectively in a primarily remote environment.
  • Coordinate with relevant team members to resolve data and documentation issues.
  • Attend to occasional work requirements at the Tatu and Athi school campuses.
  • Manage multiple assignments while meeting established deadlines.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Business, Commerce, Economics, Statistics, Social Sciences, or a related field.
  • Previous customer service experience, including volunteer experience, is desirable.
  • Experience in data entry or database management is an added advantage.
  • Candidates with limited experience who demonstrate willingness to learn are encouraged to apply.
