Scholarship Overview

Meru University of Science and Technology (MUST) is inviting qualified Kenyan graduates to apply for various scholarship opportunities under its Graduate Assistant and Technicians & Technologists Scholarship Programme. The scholarships are aimed at developing highly skilled professionals in Engineering, ICT, Renewable Energy, and Smart Grid technologies.

Successful Graduate Assistant applicants will pursue Master's studies with an opportunity to transition into Ph.D. programmes upon successful completion.

Technicians & Technologists Scholarship

Graduate Assistant Scholarship Requirements

Applicants must:

• Hold a minimum of Second Class Honours (Upper Division) in a relevant Bachelor's degree from a recognized and accredited university.
• Be Kenyan citizens aged below 30 years.
• Be willing to transition to a Ph.D. programme upon successful completion of the Master's degree.
• Accept bonding under the University's applicable terms and conditions.
• Complete the programme within the prescribed study period.
• Undertake their studies at Meru University of Science and Technology.
• Be registered or eligible for registration with the relevant professional and/or regulatory bodies where applicable.

Technicians & Technologists Scholarship Requirements

Applicants must:

• Be Kenyan citizens below 40 years of age.
• Hold a Diploma with Credit in the advertised fields from a recognized and accredited institution.
• Be suitably qualified to pursue a Bachelor of Science in:
• Electrical and Electronics Engineering
• Mechatronics
• ICT
• Be willing to serve under the University's bonding terms and conditions.
• Complete the programme within the prescribed study period.
• Be registered or eligible for registration with relevant professional or regulatory bodies where applicable.

Scholarship Benefits

Successful applicants will:

• Study at Meru University of Science and Technology (MUST).
• Receive scholarship support under the University's programme.
• Be expected to complete studies within the stipulated period.
• Be bonded according to the University's scholarship terms and conditions.
