Job Overview

The Public Service Commission Kenya (PSCK) is inviting applications for four (4) Instructor III – Hair Dressing and Beauty Therapy/Cosmetology positions. Position Summary

The Instructor III – Hair Dressing and Beauty Therapy/Cosmetology will train students in hairdressing, beauty therapy, and cosmetology, prepare instructional materials, supervise practical sessions, administer assessments, and contribute to quality technical education.

Key Responsibilities

• Undertake training in Hair Dressing and Beauty Therapy/Cosmetology in accordance with the approved syllabus.
• Prepare teaching and learning materials and schemes of work.
• Set, administer, and mark examinations and assignments.
• Carry out research under the guidance and supervision of senior trainers.
• Supervise trainees' practical work and projects.
• Assess learners' performance and provide constructive feedback.
• Maintain accurate training records and support curriculum implementation.
• Promote professional standards, hygiene, and safety during practical training.

Qualifications and Requirements

Applicants should possess either:

• A Diploma in Technical Education in the relevant field from a recognized institution.

OR

• A Diploma in any of the following fields:
• Hair Dressing
• Beauty Therapy
• Cosmetology
• Beauty and Spa Therapy
