The opportunity is suitable for a student or recent graduate looking to gain practical experience in financial management, accounting processes and organisational finance operations.
The successful candidate will support the Finance team in carrying out day-to-day accounting activities while gaining practical exposure to financial records, financial analysis, reporting and other finance-related processes. The role will provide an opportunity to apply academic knowledge in a professional working environment and develop practical skills relevant to a career in finance and accounting.
Applicants should be pursuing a degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or a related field and must be CPA finalists. Candidates should have strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, good communication skills and a high level of attention to detail. The intern is expected to demonstrate accuracy when handling financial information and follow established financial procedures and internal controls.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills will be important in supporting the Finance team. The successful candidate should be able to examine information carefully, identify discrepancies and seek appropriate guidance when dealing with financial or accounting issues.
