JOB OVERVIEW

Ourfundi is looking for two energetic, hardworking and highly motivated Sales Interns to support its business development, customer acquisition and field sales activities.

The Sales Interns will work primarily in the field, identifying potential customers, generating leads, promoting Ourfundi's services and supporting the Business Development team in converting prospects into business opportunities.

The role involves extensive movement within Nairobi and surrounding areas, including visits to businesses, institutions, property developments, schools, offices and other potential clients.

Important: The ability to ride a motorbike and possession of a valid motorcycle riding licence are mandatory requirements for this position.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Field Sales & Lead Generation

  • Travel to different areas within Nairobi and surrounding locations using a company-approved motorbike.
  • Identify prospective customers and new business opportunities.
  • Visit real estate companies, property managers, schools, offices, institutions and residential developments.
  • Introduce Ourfundi's maintenance and repair services to potential customers.
  • Distribute company profiles, brochures and other marketing materials.
  • Identify key decision-makers within target organisations.
  • Collect relevant contact information for follow-up.
  • Generate qualified leads and submit them to the Business Development team.

Market Research & Prospecting

  • Research businesses and institutions that may require maintenance and repair services.
  • Identify new construction projects, residential estates, commercial buildings, schools and offices.
  • Maintain an updated record of prospects and opportunities.
  • Gather information about potential customers, locations and possible maintenance requirements.
  • Identify areas with potential for new business development.

Business Development Support

  • Work closely with the Business Development and Operations teams.
  • Assist with delivery of tenders, quotations, proposals and company profiles.
  • Support follow-ups with prospective customers.
  • Participate in sales meetings and field visits.
  • Assist in converting qualified leads into potential business opportunities.
  • Support other business development activities assigned by the supervisor.

Marketing & Brand Promotion

  • Distribute Ourfundi flyers, brochures and promotional materials.
  • Promote awareness of Ourfundi's maintenance and repair services.
  • Gather customer feedback from field activities.
  • Monitor competitor activities and identify market opportunities.
  • Suggest ways to increase the company's visibility and customer reach.

Reporting & Planning

Sales Interns will be expected to maintain accurate records of their field activities and submit weekly reports covering:
