About the Role
The Accounting Intern will assist the Finance department with recording financial transactions, preparing invoices and payment documentation, maintaining financial records, supporting audits, and performing basic reconciliation activities.
The role requires strong numerical and analytical abilities, attention to detail, good organizational skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other computer applications.
Key Responsibilities
Accounting & Financial Records
- Assist in recording financial transactions in accounting systems.
- Maintain accurate and organized accounting records.
- Support the preparation of invoices, receipts, and payment vouchers.
- Assist with financial data entry and verification.
- Ensure accounting documents are properly organized and filed.
Reconciliation & Cash Management
- Assist with bank reconciliation activities.
- Support petty cash management and related documentation.
- Help verify financial transactions and supporting documents.
- Identify and report discrepancies to the relevant Finance team members.
Audit & Stock Taking
- Assist the Finance department during internal and external audit activities.
- Support stock taking exercises and documentation.

Administration & Reporting
- Assist with routine financial and administrative tasks.
- Support the preparation of basic financial reports and schedules.
- Perform data entry using accounting systems and Microsoft Excel.

- Perform other finance-related duties assigned by the supervisor.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or a related field.
- Recent graduate in Accounting or Finance.
- CPA Certificate is also accepted.
- Basic knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other computer applications.
- Candidates with 0–2 years of experience are encouraged to apply.
