Job Overview
Tropical Heat is seeking a qualified and analytical Data Analyst – Sales to support sales performance through data analysis, reporting, forecasting and business intelligence. The successful candidate will work closely with sales and commercial teams to consolidate data from multiple sources, monitor key performance indicators, identify sales trends and provide actionable insights that support revenue growth.
The role requires strong analytical abilities, proficiency in Microsoft Office and ERP systems, CRM experience, and the ability to transform complex datasets into clear recommendations that can be implemented by business teams.

The company manufactures a wide range of spices and snacks and continues to operate with a strong technical and business team. Its operations involve sales, distribution, customer management, production and other functions that require accurate data and effective business analysis to support decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
The Data Analyst – Sales will be responsible for supporting sales performance and business decision-making through effective use of data. Key responsibilities include:
Design and improve procedures for consolidating business and product performance data from multiple sources.
Collect, organize and analyse sales and business data.
Prepare regular reports on business and product KPIs.
Support sales forecasting and assessment of future sales and business capability requirements.
Work closely with Key Account Managers, Sales Coordinators, Sales Administrators, Sales Team Leaders and Sales Representatives to gather relevant sales information.
Support the sales team in achieving established sales targets.
Provide information and guidance to sales teams regarding scheduled targets.
Develop KPI scorecards to help drive revenue growth and improve sales performance.
Run monthly business KPI reports and communicate findings to relevant stakeholders.
Track initiatives, usage and revenue through appropriate monitoring tools and trackers.
Identify performance gaps and recommend corrective actions.
Monitor implementation of agreed corrective plans.
Champion the use of CRM systems and provide regular reports through the CRM platform.
Support integration of business systems and customer databases within the CRM environment.
Help reduce manual intervention and improve the availability of a single view of customer information.
Develop and maintain databases, data collection systems and data analytics processes.
Ensure data is collected, organized and maintained accurately.
Analyse sales performance and provide feedback to relevant teams.
Interface with sales teams when developing business cases.
Review performance against sales targets and identify areas requiring improvement.
Provide insights into sales trends and changing customer or market patterns.
Present relevant reports and findings during Management Review Meetings (MRM) and Balanced Scorecard (BSC) meetings where required.
Work with cross-functional teams to identify business challenges and develop data-driven solutions.
Provide stakeholders with clear and actionable recommendations based on analysis.
Qualifications and Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Business Administration or another quantitative field.
At least 2–3 years of relevant experience in data analysis, sales analysis or a related field.
Experience conducting exploratory and quantitative analysis using Microsoft Office and ERP systems.
Experience working with CRM systems.
Strong analytical and numerical skills.
