Position Summary

The Instructor III – Welding and Fabrication will train students in welding and fabrication techniques, prepare instructional materials, supervise practical sessions, administer assessments, and contribute to the delivery of quality technical education.

Key Responsibilities

• Undertake training in Welding and Fabrication in accordance with the approved syllabus.
• Prepare teaching and learning materials and schemes of work.
• Set, administer, and mark examinations and assignments.
• Carry out research under the guidance and supervision of senior trainers.
• Supervise trainees' practical work and projects.
• Assess learners' performance and provide constructive feedback.
• Maintain accurate training records and support curriculum implementation.
• Promote safe working practices during practical training sessions.

Qualifications and Requirements

Applicants should possess either:

• A Diploma in Technical Education in the relevant field from a recognized institution.

OR

• A Diploma in any of the following fields:
• Welding and Fabrication Technology
• Fabrication and Welding Engineering
• Metal Fabrication Technology
