Clarity Solutions is seeking a skilled and creative Website & Graphic Designer to join its team in Nairobi. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, maintaining and improving websites while also creating high-quality graphic and digital marketing materials for the organization.

The role requires a combination of technical web development skills and strong graphic design capabilities. The ideal candidate should be comfortable working with WordPress, HTML, CSS, responsive web design, UI/UX principles and design software such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and Canva.

The successful candidate will also support the company's branding, digital marketing and social media activities by developing visually appealing content for various platforms.

Job Overview

The Website & Graphic Designer will combine web development, graphic design and digital content creation to support the company's online presence and marketing activities.

The successful candidate will be expected to create responsive and user-friendly websites, maintain existing web platforms, develop marketing materials and produce engaging visual content for social media and other digital channels.

The position is based in Nairobi and is offered on a full-time basis.

Key Responsibilities

Website Design and Development

Design, develop and maintain professional and responsive websites.

Create websites that provide an effective and user-friendly experience across desktop, tablet and mobile devices.

Develop and customize websites using WordPress.

Use HTML5 and CSS3 to create and modify website layouts and features.

Apply basic JavaScript knowledge when required.

Develop and maintain landing pages for marketing campaigns.

Improve website navigation and overall user experience.

Maintain and update existing websites based on business requirements.

Create and maintain website forms, contact systems and other integrations.

Monitor website performance and identify opportunities for speed and performance improvements.

Work with hosting, domain and DNS configurations when required.

Graphic Design and Visual Content

Create high-quality digital and print-ready artwork for the organization.

Design corporate branding materials and visual identities.

Develop logos, brochures, company profiles, flyers and posters.

Design business cards, stationery and product catalogues.

Create professional presentations and other marketing materials.

Produce graphics that maintain consistent corporate branding across different platforms.

Prepare artwork according to specifications for both digital and print production.

Social Media and Digital Marketing Design

Create engaging visual content for Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn and other social media platforms.

Design YouTube thumbnails and promotional graphics.

Create creative content for TikTok and WhatsApp marketing campaigns.

Develop graphics for Google Ads and display advertising campaigns.

Qualifications and Requirements

Applicants for the Website & Graphic Designer position should meet the following requirements:

Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification in Graphic Design, Web Design, Information Technology, Computer Science, Digital Media, Communications or a related field.

At least 3 years of professional experience in website and graphic design.

Demonstrated experience designing and maintaining websites.

Strong experience with WordPress development and customization.

Good knowledge of HTML5 and CSS3.
