Job Summary
Sybyl Limited is seeking a skilled and experienced Database Administrator – MySQL & EDB PostgreSQL to join its team in Nairobi. The successful candidate will be responsible for administering, maintaining, securing, and optimizing database environments that support business-critical applications and enterprise operations.
The Database Administrator will play an important role in ensuring that databases remain available, secure, reliable, and capable of supporting production workloads. The position requires practical hands-on experience with both MySQL and EDB PostgreSQL, together with a strong understanding of database administration, backup and recovery, performance optimization, security, high availability, and replication.

Key Responsibilities
Database Installation and Administration
