Job Overview

Key Responsibilities

Prepare and maintain dining and service stations before, during and after service.

Take food and beverage orders accurately and serve guests professionally.

Provide attentive service and respond promptly to guest requests.

Maintain knowledge of food and beverage menus and assist guests with suitable selections.

Monitor tables and anticipate guest needs throughout the dining experience.

Handle cash and other transactions accurately according to established procedures.

Maintain cleanliness and organisation of dining and service areas.

Clear used crockery, cutlery and other service items promptly.

Support bar service and other food and beverage operations when required.

Communicate special dietary requirements and guest preferences to relevant teams.

Assist with buffet service by monitoring cleanliness, replenishment and guest requirements.

Maintain high standards of personal hygiene and workplace cleanliness.

Support junior team members and contribute to effective teamwork.

Participate in service improvement initiatives and team activities.

Qualifications and Requirements

Applicants should have:

At least 1 year of experience in food and beverage service, preferably within a luxury hotel or hospitality environment.

Strong customer service and guest relations skills.

Good written and verbal communication skills.

Knowledge of food and beverage service procedures.

Ability to operate or learn Point-of-Sale (POS) systems.

Strong attention to detail and professional presentation.

Ability to manage multiple guest requests and competing priorities.

A positive, professional and service-oriented attitude.

Ability to work effectively as part of a hospitality team.
