Job Overview

HCS Affiliates Group is seeking an experienced Senior HR Consultant (Lead Project Manager) to provide strategic leadership in aligning human capital with organizational objectives. The successful candidate will lead skills and competency development, succession planning, talent management, coaching and mentorship, change management, workforce transformation and automation impact assessments.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the development of a two-year internal skills and competency framework.

Design and implement succession plans across different organizational levels.

Develop coaching and mentorship programmes for employees and management.

Formulate corporate governance structures and workforce transformation roadmaps.

Support the development of a result-oriented and people-centric organizational culture.

Assess the impact of automation on existing and future workforce roles.

Prepare analytical reports on roles affected by automation.

Conduct comprehensive skills gap analyses against established competencies.

Develop competency maps and HR frameworks.

Provide strategic HR leadership across different HR functions.

Prepare high-quality consultancy reports and recommendations.

Support organizational transformation and human capital strategy initiatives.

Qualifications and Requirements

Master's Degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Strategic Management or a related field.

Valid IHRM Practising Certificate and active membership with IHRM Kenya.

At least 10–15 years of relevant HR experience.

At least three reference letters from organizations where the candidate conducted skills gap analysis involving more than 500 employees.

Extensive experience across major HR functions.

Demonstrated consultancy experience in HR and organizational development.

Experience with AI and HR/software analysis.

Strong analytical, strategic planning and report-writing skills.

Excellent communication, leadership and stakeholder management abilities.
