Procurement Assistant, Mission for Essential Drugs and Supplies, Nairobi. July to August 2024. ‘MEDS’ is among the leading organizations in medical supplies ecosystem, her mission is to provide reliable and affordable health products and technologies, and health systems strengthening. This role involved processing requisitions and orders in SYSPRO and SAP CRYSTAL software, inspecting and receiving, controlling stocks, warehousing, logistics and distribution of 400+ types of commodities. My responsibilities and achievements included but were not limited to the following; • Coordinated a 5-man team, and implemented 30+ procurement policies and procedures, on specifications, ordering, contracting, tendering, and procurement planning, among other transactions.
