The successful candidate will work with C#/.NET, cloud infrastructure, messaging technologies, and modern software engineering practices. The role involves taking ownership of solutions from architecture and development to testing, deployment, monitoring, and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

- Backend Development: Build and maintain event-driven microservices using C# and .NET to support business and mobility-related solutions.

- System Architecture: Contribute to architecture decisions and develop reliable, scalable software services.

- Cloud Development: Work with cloud platforms, particularly Microsoft Azure, while applying relevant experience from AWS or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

- Messaging and Integration: Develop and maintain event-driven systems using Service Bus or similar messaging technologies, including Kafka and RabbitMQ.

- Infrastructure Management: Work with Kubernetes, Docker, and infrastructure-as-code practices to support reliable application deployment and operation.

- Monitoring and Observability: Use Prometheus, Grafana, and related monitoring tools to understand system performance, identify issues, and improve reliability.

- Automated Testing: Develop and maintain automated tests across development, testing, and production environments to ensure software quality.

- Continuous Delivery: Apply DevOps practices and continuous delivery processes to deliver software improvements safely and efficiently.

- AI-Assisted Development: Use AI coding tools such as Claude Code to support software development and improve engineering productivity.

- Production Ownership: Monitor deployed services, investigate technical issues, and contribute to maintaining reliable production systems.

- Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other engineers, receive and provide technical guidance, and contribute to high-quality engineering practices.

- Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to improve system quality, monitoring, testing, deployment processes, and overall engineering performance.

Qualifications and Requirements

Candidates should have:

- Strong experience in C# and .NET development.

- Experience developing or maintaining event-driven systems and microservices.

- Familiarity with messaging technologies such as Service Bus, Kafka, or RabbitMQ.

- Knowledge of cloud platforms, particularly Azure, with AWS or GCP experience also relevant.

- Experience with Kubernetes and Docker.

- Familiarity with monitoring and observability tools such as Prometheus and Grafana.
