Job Overview

GAIN is seeking an IT Project Manager to oversee the transformation of its finance management systems to Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central. The project aims to improve financial processes and integrate programme, grant, and entity information across the organisation.

Key Responsibilities

- Coordinate migration from Microsoft Dynamics NAV, Vena, and SharePoint tools to Business Central.

- Work with Finance, IT, and business teams to improve workflows, reporting, and automation.

- Oversee financial data cleansing, migration, validation, and reconciliation.

- Coordinate integrations with systems such as Salesforce.

- Manage user acceptance testing, defect resolution, deployment, and go-live readiness.

- Organise user training, change management, documentation, and post-launch support.

- Coordinate implementation partners and monitor project deliverables.

- Maintain project plans, budgets, risk registers, and progress reports.

Requirements

The ideal candidate should have:

- Proven experience delivering finance-system migrations or ERP implementations.

- Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central and Microsoft Dynamics NAV.

- Knowledge of data migration, systems integration, testing, and deployment.

- Experience working with implementation partners and internal technical and finance teams.

- Understanding of finance, budgeting, grants, and reporting in nonprofit organisations.

- Experience managing projects across multiple countries or entities.

- Strong analytical, organisational, communication, and reporting skills.

- Ability to support user training and adoption of new systems.

- Strong spoken and written English and the ability to collaborate across time zones.
