Position Summary

The Procurement and Logistics Assistant will support procurement, supply chain, importation, and warehouse operations. The role includes coordinating suppliers, maintaining procurement records, tracking inventory, monitoring shipments, and ensuring efficient delivery of goods and services across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Support procurement activities, including preparing purchase requisitions and purchase orders.
• Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of goods and services.
• Assist in supply chain, importation, and warehouse operations.
• Monitor inventory levels and support stock management activities.
• Track shipments and coordinate logistics with third-party service providers.
• Maintain procurement records and documentation in SAP.
• Prepare procurement and inventory reports using Microsoft Excel.
• Ensure compliance with procurement policies and organizational procedures.
• Collaborate with Finance, Marketing, Programmes, and other internal departments to support operational efficiency.

Qualifications and Requirements

Applicants should possess:

• Bachelor's Degree in Procurement and Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Registration with the Kenya Institute of Supplies Management (KISM).
• Minimum of two (2) years' experience in procurement, supply chain management, imports, or warehouse operations.
• Proficiency in SAP.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including Pivot Tables and data analysis.
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
