Key Responsibilities

Driving Duties

  • Safely transport passengers, goods, or equipment to designated destinations.
  • Follow assigned routes and schedules while ensuring timely deliveries.
  • Observe all traffic laws, road safety regulations, and company driving policies.
  • Conduct daily vehicle inspections before and after each trip.
  • Report vehicle faults, accidents, or maintenance requirements promptly.
  • Maintain accurate vehicle logbooks, fuel records, and trip reports.

Vehicle Maintenance

  • Keep the assigned vehicle clean and in good working condition.
  • Monitor fuel levels, oil, tyre pressure, and other essential vehicle systems.
  • Coordinate routine servicing and repairs when required.
  • Ensure all vehicle documents remain valid and up to date.

Safety and Compliance

  • Ensure the safety of passengers, cargo, and other road users.
  • Handle company property responsibly and maintain confidentiality where necessary.
  • Comply with company policies, transport regulations, and security procedures.
  • Assist with loading and unloading when required.

Qualifications

  • KCSE Certificate with a minimum grade of D (Plain).
  • Valid Kenyan National Identity Card.
  • Valid Class CE and D3 Driving Licence.
  • KRA PIN Certificate.
  • SHIF and NSSF registration copies.
  • Certificate of Good Conduct.
  • Updated Curriculum Vitae (CV).
  • Letter from the local Area Chief.
  • Two reference letters with copies of referees' identification documents.
  • Secondary School Leaving Certificate.
  • Any additional relevant certificates will be an added advantage.

Eligibility Requirements
