Job Summary

Powerstar Supermarket is seeking qualified Accounts Clerks to support financial accounting operations by managing financial records, reconciliations, reporting, payroll accounting, budgeting, and compliance with internal accounting policies.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain and reconcile branch financial records and reports.
• Analyze financial data to support business decisions.
• Assist in month-end closing processes.
• Support preparation of financial statements.
• Reconcile payroll-related accounts and maintain the general ledger.
• Participate in budgeting and forecasting activities.
• Monitor accounts payable and accounts receivable.
• Prepare monthly financial statements and budgets.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls and accounting policies.
• Assist with audits and tax preparation.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• CPA Part II, ACCA, or an equivalent professional qualification.
• Minimum 1 year of relevant accounting experience.
• Experience in payroll processing and financial accounting.
• Proficiency in ERP systems such as Sage 300 or Microsoft Dynamics 365.
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• High attention to detail and integrity.
