Job Overview

The Social House is seeking a professional, safety-conscious, and customer-focused Driver to join its team in Nairobi. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing safe and reliable transportation services for guests, staff, and authorized items while maintaining the highest standards of professionalism and hospitality.

This role is ideal for individuals with excellent driving skills, strong knowledge of Nairobi road networks, and a passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences.

Position Summary

The Driver will transport guests and staff safely, handle airport transfers, maintain company vehicles, and ensure compliance with road safety regulations while representing The Social House's brand values.

Key Responsibilities

• Transport guests, staff, and authorized items safely and efficiently.
• Handle airport transfers, guest pick-ups, and official errands.
• Maintain courtesy, confidentiality, and professionalism at all times.
• Conduct routine vehicle inspections and promptly report defects.
• Keep assigned vehicles clean, fueled, and well-maintained.
• Maintain accurate records of trips, mileage, fuel consumption, and servicing.
• Follow traffic regulations and company safety procedures.
• Assist guests with luggage and provide local information when required.
• Demonstrate The Social House's brand values in all interactions.
• Coordinate effectively with the Front Office, Security, and other departments.

Qualifications and Requirements

Applicants should possess:

• Valid Kenyan driving licence for the assigned vehicle class.
• PSV qualification where applicable.
• At least 3 years of professional driving experience.
• Good knowledge of Nairobi roads and airport routes.
• Clean driving record with strong safety awareness.
• Basic vehicle inspection and troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent grooming, communication, and customer service skills.
• Ability to remain calm, punctual, and professional.
• Flexibility to work shifts, nights, weekends, and public holidays.
