Job Overview

The Coast Water Works Development Agency (CWWDA) is inviting applications from qualified and experienced professionals to fill multiple positions based in Mombasa. The Agency is seeking competent individuals to support its mandate of developing and managing water and sanitation infrastructure through leadership, engineering, ICT, corporate communication, administration, and technical operations.

Key Requirements

Director Corporate Services

• Bachelor's Degree in Commerce, Accounting, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
• Master's Degree in Finance, Business Administration, Strategic Management, Corporate Governance, Public Policy, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 15 years of relevant experience, including at least 5 years at Assistant Director level or equivalent.
• Leadership course lasting at least four weeks.
• Membership in a relevant professional body where applicable.
• Valid practicing certificate where applicable.

Senior Engineer (Mechanical)

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Registration with the Engineers Board of Kenya (EBK).
• Minimum 6 years of relevant experience, including 3 years as Engineer I or equivalent.

Principal ICT Officer

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, ICT, Business Information Technology, or a related field.
• Relevant professional ICT certification such as CCNP, MCSE, CISA, CISSP, or PRINCE2.
• Minimum 9 years of relevant experience, including 3 years at Senior ICT Officer level or equivalent.
• Management course lasting at least four weeks.

Corporate Communication Officer I

• Bachelor's Degree in Public Relations, Corporate Communication, Journalism, Mass Communication, or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience at Corporate Communication Officer II level or equivalent.

Engineer I (Civil)

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering.
• Registration with the Engineers Board of Kenya (EBK) as a Graduate Engineer.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience.

Engineer I (Electrical)

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Registration with the Engineers Board of Kenya (EBK) as a Graduate Engineer.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience.

Engineer I (Mechanical)

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Registration with the Engineers Board of Kenya (EBK) as a Graduate Engineer.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience.

Laboratory Technologist I

• Diploma in Applied Sciences or an equivalent qualification.
• Minimum 6 years of relevant experience, including 3 years at Laboratory Technologist II level or equivalent.

Inspector I (Electrical)

• Diploma in Electrical Engineering.
• Membership with the Kenya Engineering Technologist Registration Board (KETREB).
• Minimum 6 years of relevant experience.

Inspector I (Mechanical)

• Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or a related field.
• Membership with KETREB.
• Minimum 6 years of relevant experience.

Senior Driver

• KCSE Certificate.
• Valid Class BCE Driving Licence.
• Defensive Driving Certificate.
• Occupational Trade Test Grade I.
• First Aid Certificate.
• Certificate of Good Conduct.
• Minimum 9 years of driving experience, including 3 years at Driver I level or equivalent.

Artisan III – Electrical (Pump Operator)

• National Trade Test Grade III Certificate in Electrical.
• Basic computer proficiency.

Office Administrator I

• Bachelor's Degree in Secretarial Studies or Business & Office Management, or a Bachelor's Degree in Social Sciences with a Diploma in Secretarial Studies.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience.
• Proficiency in computer applications.
