Job Overview

SAP is seeking an experienced Senior Solution Advisor Specialist to join its Solution Advisory community in East Africa. The successful candidate will be based in Nairobi and support enterprise customers across Emerging Africa.

The position focuses on SAP S/4HANA Procurement and intelligent spend management solutions. The successful applicant will work with enterprise customers throughout the sales cycle, helping them understand procurement challenges and how SAP technologies can improve their business operations.

The role requires a professional who can combine technical knowledge, business advisory skills, customer engagement and sales support. The candidate will demonstrate SAP solutions, explain their business value, develop procurement transformation strategies and help customers adopt intelligent procurement technologies.

The successful candidate will also work closely with account executives, value advisors, regional teams and business partners to support customer engagements and business growth.

Key Responsibilities

The Senior Solution Advisor Specialist will undertake the following responsibilities:

1. Customer Needs Assessment: Engage enterprise customers to understand their procurement challenges, business priorities and transformation objectives.

2. Solution Demonstrations: Prepare and deliver demonstrations of SAP S/4HANA Procurement, explaining how the technology addresses customer requirements and improves business outcomes.

3. Business Value Communication: Explain SAP's procurement solutions to different stakeholders, including procurement directors, finance leaders, IT decision-makers and senior executives.

4. Procurement Transformation Advisory: Guide customers in developing procurement transformation strategies that align with their business objectives.

5. Artificial Intelligence Integration: Help customers understand how intelligent procurement features can support automation, spend analytics and AI-powered sourcing.

6. Customer Engagement: Independently lead advisory engagements at important stages of the sales process, from initial discussions to solution decisions and adoption.

7. Business Presentations: Develop compelling business presentations and demonstrations highlighting spend visibility, process automation, supplier collaboration and procurement compliance.

8. Solution Roadmap Development: Work with customers and business partners to develop procurement transformation roadmaps using SAP solutions.

9. Competitive Positioning: Develop effective strategies that communicate SAP's value and differentiate its solutions from competing technologies.

10. Customer Adoption: Support customers in understanding and adopting SAP Procurement solutions to improve usage, business value and long-term engagement.

11. Regional Collaboration: Work with account executives, value advisors, partners and regional teams to support enterprise customer opportunities across Emerging Africa.

12. Sales Cycle Support: Provide specialist procurement knowledge throughout the sales cycle, helping customers progress from initial discovery to solution commitment.

Qualifications and Requirements
