Job Overview

The Public Service Commission Kenya (PSCK) is inviting applications for the Public Service Internship Programme (PSIP) – Cohort 9. The programme offers recent graduates an opportunity to gain practical work experience in the public service while enhancing their professional skills through structured mentorship and on-the-job training.

The internship runs for twelve (12) months and is non-renewable.

Position Summary

The Public Service Internship Programme is designed to equip graduates with practical workplace experience, expose them to public service operations, and enhance their employability through mentorship and professional development.

Eligibility Requirements

Applicants must:

• Hold a Bachelor's Degree in any discipline from a recognized university.
• Have graduated not earlier than the year 2020.
• Be proficient in computer applications.
• Not have previously benefited from a similar internship programme.

Duties and Responsibilities

Successful interns will be expected to:

• Complete duties assigned by their supervisors.
• Document the knowledge and skills acquired during the internship.
• Actively participate in mentorship programmes and professional development activities.
• Undertake additional responsibilities assigned as part of the internship programme.

Internship Duration

• Duration: Twelve (12) Months
• Contract Type: Full-Time Contract
• Renewal: Non-renewable
