Job Summary

Neema Hospital is seeking a qualified and compassionate Registered Clinical Officer to provide quality patient care, conduct medical evaluations, administer treatment, and support the delivery of healthcare services within the hospital.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct medical evaluations, diagnosis, treatment, and patient consultations.
• Respond to medical emergencies and provide appropriate clinical interventions.
• Obtain and document patient history, including chief complaints, medical history, family and social history, review of systems, physical examination findings, medications, allergies, assessments, and treatment plans.
• Issue medical orders for prescription refills, medication administration, and referrals where necessary.
• Educate patients on their health conditions, treatment plans, and preventive care.
• Supervise patient care within the hospital.
• Remain available to patients to answer questions and provide updates regarding their care.

Requirements

• Diploma in Clinical Medicine and Surgery from a recognized institution.
• Registered with the Clinical Officers Council (COC).
• Valid Practising License.
• Proficiency in computer applications.
• At least 2 years of experience as a Clinical Officer in a busy hospital.
