Design and maintain the data ingestion and normalization infrastructure that transforms institutional documents — PDFs, scanned tables, and machine-generated reports — into verified, migration-ready data powering the Hawkeye platform at national scale. *Key Responsibilities* • Build Python parse scripts for OCR and structured table extraction from large-format PDFs • Develop data normalization pipelines handling name variations, encoding issues, and format drift • Author numbered SQL migration files for the PostgreSQL database • Implement pre-migration validation checks reconciling extracted figures against published source totals • Maintain complete, auditable data lineage for every row in the database • Expand pipelines as the platform integrates additional data sources *Required Skills* • Python 3.10+ (30%) • PDF processing, OCR & structured data extraction (20%) • SQL & database migration authorship (20%) • Data quality assurance & validation (15%) • Data governance & lineage documentation (10%) • Technical documentation (5%)
