Job Goal

The Junior Deployment Engineer will support the administration of payment modules operating in the company's production environment. The role involves setting up new services, implementing system changes and ensuring payment systems are properly configured and maintained.

Key Responsibilities

Add, modify and terminate banks, terminals and added services within payment systems.

Manage system users, profiles and access configurations.

Support system updates, version upgrades and fixes across payment systems.

Apply system changes and configurations required for new and existing services.

Review and audit system settings and configurations to ensure they are correctly implemented.

Monitor payment system configurations and identify areas requiring updates or corrections.

Support the deployment and configuration of new services in the production environment.

Ensure that system changes are properly implemented while minimizing disruption to existing services.

Assist in maintaining reliable and properly configured payment modules.

Support periodic checks of system configurations and operational readiness.

Contribute to disaster recovery preparedness by ensuring DR sites are synchronized and properly maintained.

Assist with version synchronization between production and disaster recovery environments.

Conduct periodic configuration checks to ensure systems remain ready for recovery when required.

Work with other technical teams to resolve system and deployment-related issues.

Follow established procedures when implementing system changes, upgrades and fixes.

Maintain accurate technical and configuration records where required.

Perform other related technical duties assigned by management.

Qualifications and Requirements

Applicants should meet the following requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related field.

0–2 years of experience in a similar field.

Strong understanding of database systems.

Knowledge of Oracle Database.

Good understanding of SQL.

Ability to work with Linux command-line environments.

Understanding of system administration and application deployment concepts.

Ability to work with system configurations and technical settings.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Good attention to detail when handling system configurations and changes.
