Job Overview

Job Purpose

The ICT Officer will oversee the organization’s ICT infrastructure and provide technical leadership in the management of computers, networks, servers, software and other technology resources.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and coordinate the ICT team by assigning duties, supervising performance and managing workloads.

Oversee daily ICT operations, including computers, networks, servers, software and related infrastructure.

Install, maintain, configure and troubleshoot ICT systems and equipment.

Provide technical support to employees and resolve hardware, software and network-related issues.

Monitor ICT infrastructure to identify technical problems and ensure reliable system performance.

Implement and maintain appropriate cybersecurity and data protection measures.

Protect company information and ensure confidentiality across ICT systems and networks.

Manage regular data backup procedures and support recovery processes.

Conduct backup and recovery tests to strengthen business continuity and disaster recovery preparedness.

Train and guide employees on the effective and secure use of ICT systems.

Qualifications and Requirements
