Job Overview
The National Government Affirmative Action Fund (NGAAF) is seeking a qualified and customer-focused Customer Care Assistant to support its corporate communication and front-office operations.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the reception desk, handling visitor and telephone inquiries, maintaining visitor records, coordinating appointments, and ensuring professional customer service.
Key Responsibilities
Manage the reception desk and switchboard.
Maintain a clean, welcoming, and professional reception area.
Receive, screen, and direct visitors to the appropriate offices.
Respond to visitors' queries and telephone inquiries professionally.
Profile visitors and maintain accurate visitor records.
Record and confirm visitors' appointments.
Issue visitor passes and ensure proper visitor management procedures are followed.
Receive correspondence delivered to the reception and dispatch it to the relevant offices.
Attend to incoming telephone calls and direct them to the appropriate departments or officers.
Distribute relevant NGAAF brochures and information materials to customers.
Collect and collate data to support the development, implementation, and review of corporate communication policies, strategies, regulations, and procedures.
Provide professional customer service and ensure visitors receive appropriate assistance.
Perform other duties related to customer care and front-office operations as assigned.
Qualifications
Diploma in Customer Care, Public Relations, Mass Communication, Customer Service, Front Office, or an equivalent qualification from a recognized institution.
Must meet the requirements of Chapter Six of the Constitution of Kenya.
Previous experience in customer service, reception, front-office operations, or a related field may be an added advantage.
