Position Summary

The Hostess will serve as the first point of contact for guests, ensuring they receive a warm welcome while efficiently managing restaurant seating, reservations, and guest interactions to support smooth restaurant operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Welcome and warmly greet guests upon arrival.
• Escort guests to their tables and manage seating arrangements efficiently.
• Coordinate restaurant traffic flow to minimize waiting times.
• Handle reservations and maintain accurate reservation records.
• Support the service team during busy periods to ensure smooth operations.
• Interact with guests to ensure they enjoy an excellent dining experience.
• Collect customer feedback and communicate concerns to management.
• Maintain clean, organized, and presentable reception and waiting areas.
• Ensure menus are clean, updated, and readily available for guests.
• Promote exceptional customer service and uphold the restaurant's hospitality standards.

Qualifications and Requirements

Applicants should possess:

• Diploma or Certificate in Food & Beverage Service or an equivalent qualification.
• Minimum of 1–3 years of experience in a fast-paced or fine-dining restaurant.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Professional grooming and presentation.
• Ability to multitask in a busy hospitality environment.
• Strong customer service orientation.
