Position Summary
The Finance Intern will assist with front office operations, financial transactions, invoicing, payment processing, and customer service. The role provides hands-on exposure to healthcare finance and administrative operations while working closely with experienced professionals.
Key Responsibilities
Reception Duties
Answer telephone calls promptly and assist patients professionally.
Schedule patient appointments according to the doctor's timetable.
Provide excellent customer service to all patients.
Maintain organized patient waiting areas, office files, and the reception desk.
Maintain effective communication with patients and colleagues.
Exercise professionalism, diplomacy, and tact when interacting with patients.
Finance Duties
Receive and issue receipts for payments accurately according to source documents.
Verify services rendered to eligible corporate scheme beneficiaries.
Ensure insurance payments are accurately posted into the system.
Prepare and issue patient invoices promptly.
Deliver invoices to hospitals physically and/or electronically.
Perform any other duties assigned by management.
