Job Summary
SOS Children's Villages International is seeking an Intern to support its global partnership with DHL Group, focusing on enhancing youth employability across 60 countries. The intern will work closely with the Global Partnership Key Account Manager and contribute to partnership management, programme support, reporting, and communications.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide general support in managing the global partnership.
- Administer partnership documents and maintain the local database.
- Assist in organizing workshops, meetings, and other partnership events, including logistics.
- Compile data for reporting, monitoring, and evaluation.
- Develop communication materials such as presentations, reports, articles, and other internal and external content.
- Support communication and coordination with partnership countries.
- Assist the Youth Employability and Entrepreneurship team in programme design, evaluation, and expansion.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree (ongoing or completed), or an equivalent qualification.
- Experience in project management, budget management, or event management through studies, volunteering, internships, or work experience.
- Strong administrative and organizational skills.
- Experience in partnership management and youth employability or entrepreneurship programmes is an added advantage.
- Appreciation of multicultural environments and commitment to the organization's values.
- Open-minded approach to global issues.
- Self-motivated with strong teamwork skills.
- Proficiency in:
- Microsoft Outlook
- Microsoft Excel
- Microsoft PowerPoint
- Adobe Photoshop
- Adobe Illustrator
- Adobe InDesign
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Valid work permit to work full-time in Kenya.
